The Central Mississippi Chapter would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Alex Herbst and our good friends at the East Mississippi Chapter. Alex was the president of the East Mississippi Chapter who helped us plan our combined meeting at the French Camp Observatory last year. He was a very smart and kind person who we will all miss very much.
